2021 is a shitshow

The Republicans and Democrats are just twins, conjoined at the hip

The two party system is not working and hasn't for decades. Why do we allow ourselves to subscribe only to these two, when there are several more parties out there that WILL do better. Please for the love of God, answer me this?!

Being in my late 20's I've seen the beginning of Iraq to the end. People in their early 20s will never know what it is like to watch history alter when you are just in the third grade. The tv that you watched educational videos on now danced with smoke inside it. That is when I started to really notice the world around me more.

Why is it that We the PEOPLE allow the 1 percent to use us as their puppets?

I was never one for politics. I could never understand, or follow the terms they used for their legal talk. I usually stood clear from that topic, never wanting to sound ridiculous when even attempting too. The first time I really started to pay attention was the 2012 election between Romney and Obama.

No one party is better then the other. You just have to pick between the lesser of two evils, which in all reality, we shouldn't have too. Having just the two party system is just seeing the world either Black or White. But, life isn't just those two shades. Life has a mix of the two. Gray.

To understand one side you have to meet in the middle to see where the other is coming from. That will never happen unfortunately, unless we sandwich a third.

The Red and Blue are continually fighting for one thing that man has always waned. Money and Power. We as human beings are selfish only caring about one's needs and that alone. Teamwork was something we used to have to do to be able to survive the predators among us.

We have evolved into the predators

2020 was just the teaser of what this year was preparing to bring all along. I was never a Left or Right wing supporter, ever. Seeing how these two children share their toy makes me want to take them back to foster care and never look back.

The power struggle is so damn exhausting that I feel like a 60 year old woman screaming, "Back in my day-"

2016 was a interesting year over all and adding the election on top of that... Damn. I watched as a man let money speak. His tongue dripping with coins while the people waited with open hands. I understand why people liked him, he was relatable in the sense that he was a man with no knowledge of politics running to prove a point. Which he did. It seemed to be a joke at first but in time we took him seriously.

Every politician has their downfalls. No presidential run will ever be perfect especially with the Iraq war continuing on, but those without political 'training' can be a downfall in some aspects. Trump was one of them. I believe that if we would have had a middle class citizen run, win and rule, things would turn out differently. The top 1 percent would be taxed giving the middle class a break, lower income would be offered more possibilities for living situations, food and education along with free education to all. Those simple things could help literally improve the strength of our country in several ways.
